Leadership Monterey County is a 10-month program that begins in February each year. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated by the Monterey County Business Council, the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

Leadership Monterey County builds awareness of local business, community concerns, and encourages involvement and stewardship to help shape the future of Monterey County. Leadership Monterey County is a comprehensive focus on important community issues.
